Yoga Nidra, the power of the tribe, and why community matters for our mental wellbeing

When Jim Rohn said that we are the average of the five people we spend the most time with, I think he was wrong. 

We are the average of the five people who we ALLOW into our heads – if you’re surrounded by toxic people that are not easy to avoid, it’s not an excuse. We can decide on our boundaries to keep those people out.

I’m constantly asking how to make friends – this podcast may help you do that by realising the power of friendship and community.

I discuss the different types of people I need in my life, and how important it feels to be in a community, and connected to others. I discuss an important shared experience during a yoga nidra session (hosted by Shannon Algeo) at IGNTD Glow 2019, and how that helped me to realise the importance of who we interact with.
